## ¿Por qué hay tantos dólares en Argentina?

Argentina convive desde hace años con un **cepo cambiario** que restringe el acceso al tipo de cambio oficial para ahorro, pagos al exterior e importaciones no autorizadas. Esa restricción abrió el paso a un menú de **dólares paralelos** que replican, por distintas vías, el precio al que un argentino puede efectivamente acceder a la divisa.

El **blue** es el mercado informal en efectivo. El **MEP** y el **CCL** surgen de compraventa de bonos (AL30 / AL30D) en BYMA — legales y bancarizados, con la diferencia de que el MEP liquida en Argentina y el CCL en el exterior. El **tarjeta** es el oficial más impuestos y aplica a consumos con tarjeta afuera. El **mayorista** es el que usa el BCRA en el MULC.

La **brecha** entre el oficial y los libres (blue, MEP, CCL) funciona como termómetro: cuando se amplía, el mercado anticipa devaluación, falta de dólares o más restricciones. Cuando se achica, el oficial se acerca al precio libre de equilibrio.
